CALIFORNIA’S DAY OF DANCE CELEBRATION!

California's Day of Dance is the first of its kind to make its way to Sacramento! The primary goal is to inspire California to embrace dance as a fun and positive way to maintain good health, and to promote the availability of quality performing arts in the community. 

THIS EVENT IS FOR EVERYONE!

You can celebrate the day in a few ways:

  1. Join a Pop Up Dance Workshop for FREE!

  2. No matter where you’re located in California, we’re encouraging you to celebrate by hosting free dance workshops for your community.

  3. Tag @justdancecali and @studiotdance in your dance videos all the way through April 13, 2024 for a repost!

MISSION

This is an all volunteer run non-profit and event with all proceeds going directly back to the event and community.

We target arts starved communities with dance and arts programs for our underserved youth. Although the arts serve as the hook for program enrollment, our purpose is more far-reaching and include anti-bullying, academic success, anti-obesity, school/peer engagement, positive social development, violence & gang prevention and family strengthening.

We employ an “arts for all” approach, which ensures that every one experiences meaningful participation in dance and peripheral activities and performances.

This day is about dance, family, community and the awareness of the many benefits of DANCE!
